Martial arts training benefits children
in many ways, including self control, self defence, and self discipline.
It gives your child a chance to strengthen his or her body and mind. |
Dear Parent,
It is obvious that every parent wants the very best for their children,
but how do you prepare them for all the different challenges they
will face in today’s world?
How do you teach them the proper motivation, discipline and attitude
necessary for personal success? How do you teach them to set and
attain goals, and encourage them to reach their potential?
It is not an easy task, as this type of education is rarely found
in our schools, on the football fields or in our community organisations.
In my view this is a real shame, almost a crime, because teaching
children the basic life skills like goal setting, proper motivation
and self discipline, at a young age, can have a massive impact on
what the child accomplishes in later life.
That’s why at the Kinkan Dojo these skills are at the core
of what we teach in our children’s classes.
These skills are emphasised through dojo games, teamwork and encouraging
students to work through the grading syllabus.
Through our teaching methods, we aim to build the inner person as
well as the outer person.
We also encourage you, the parent, to play an important part in
your child’s martial arts education.
Nothing motivates a child more than to know that their parents actively
support and encourage them in their training.
Be prepared to be involved!
If you would like to discuss with me the possibility of your child
joining our training programme, please contact me using the links
