| Beginners Classes: How To Start Your Training | ||
| All prospective students are invited to attend a free
training session, without any obligation or pressure to join. At this session you can evaluate our approach and get a feel for the training, all without having to make a commitment. You will also learn some valuable self defence skills. |
||
| At this stage it is important to recognise that attending
the first class is the hardest step. You will be putting yourself into unfamiliar territory and stepping outside of your comfort zone. Please remember that every student at the dojo had the same experience, including the senior students and instructor. Make sure you give yourself time to adjust to this new environment, and do not expect too much from yourself. It will take time to teach your body to do even the basic movements. Remember that you are beginning an amazing journey into self development that will provide you with many valuable life skills over time. |
||
| After a 3-4 week trial period you will then be invited
to join the dojo and work through the relevant curriculum (Ninpo & Jujutsu). Once the appropriate fee has been paid, you will receive your membership license book, badge and personal welcome letter from Tanemura Sensei. |
||
| As you work through the curriculum and pass each grade, you will receive a personally written, signed and stamped certificate for that particular grade from Tanemura Sensei. | ||
| This is, in the world of modern martial arts, a rare and unique opportunity to grade up to and beyond black belt under the authority of an authentic Japanese Grandmaster, Shoto Tanemura Sensei! | ||
